Zachari Shubin
Executive President of AMSA-ARC
Zachari (pronounced “ZAH-kah-rye”) was born in Fresno, California and is starting his third year at American River College. He graduated from Rio Americano High School in 2015, but served as a missionary for his church from May 2016 to April 2018 in Salt Lake City, Utah, before starting his college career. It was near the end of his mission that he began to seriously consider a profession in medicine. Zachari is currently pursuing an associate’s degree in biotechnology and plans to transfer to a four-year institution by mid-2022. By going into the medical field, Zachari ultimately hopes to use his education to heal multitudes of people from their conditions and help contribute to curing some of today’s most impairing diseases. Outside of school, Zachari enjoys reading, exercising, and hanging with friends.
