In early October the 2010 AMSA ARC/UCD Pre-Medical Conference will take place on the UC Davis campus. The conference strives to provide all pre-meds with the opportunity to hear directly from professionals at every stage of the health profession track, including representatives from over 100 medical schools, current medical students, and dozens of deans and admission specialists. By becoming a conference leader, you will have the extended opportunity to work directly with many of these individuals while honing your own leadership skills. Positions are being offered to motivated students who wish to be apart of this year's planning team.

The AMSA ARC/UC Davis Cancer Center Community College Research Program iis a unique opportunity for community college students to conduct research and be mentored by physician scientists at the UC Davis Cancer Center.

The AMSA ARC/UC Davis Health System Department of Surgery Pre-Medical Surgery Intern Program is a unique opportunity for pre-medical students to shadow faculty, residents, interns, and medical students in the nationally recognized UC Davis Health System Department of Surgery.

During the upcoming spring semester, general club meetings will be taking place on Fridays, from 10 am to 11.30 am in classroom Tech Ed 325.

We are planning to hold the first spring meeting on February 5.
