Ava Martinez
Hi! My name is Ava Martinez and I am your acting Executive President for the American Medical Student Association for the 2025/26 school year! I am a Cell Biology major in my second year at ARC planning to transfer to UC Davis for Fall 2026 with a goal of pursuing medicine. I joined AMSA in Summer 2024 and saw it as an opportunity to make friends with similar career intentions, take advantage of the amazing medical opportunities, and work to plan events which would be beneficial for members and the community. Outside of school, I am an avid skier, hiker, and gym-goer; and a casual tennis player and runner. I am looking forward to guiding fellow pre-medical students through their community college path and supporting our community!

My name is Zara Kiwan, I am a second year Pre-med student and I am the Vice President of AMSA. When school and my job doesn’t control my life I love to crochet, fish, and hike in my spare time. I joined AMSA to broaden my exposure and knowledge of the world of medicine and have loved it so far!

My name is Amelia, I'm a 2nd year Biology major hoping to transfer to a UC in Fall 2026. I'm currently on the pre-med track, hoping to eventually become a psychiatrist or a neurologist. I chose ARC because they had a lot of resources and I liked the environment of the school. I joined AMSA to find a community of other pre-med and pre-health students and gain insight into the entire pre-med pathway while also exploring other options in healthcare. I enjoy cooking, going to the gym, and spending time with my cat.

Hi there! I'm Elizabeth! I'm a third year Biology major here at ARC and I'm really hoping to transfer Fall 2025. I'm currently working in the medical field as an EMT while taking classes. Through medicine, I hope to become a forensic pathologist or surgeon. I joined AMSA in Spring of 2025 and thought that it was a great opportunity to make connections and get information from people who have the same goals as me! I really enjoy playing videogames, going to events, and hanging out with my cats.

Hello everyone! My name is Ryan Tucker. I'm pursuing my degree in biochemistry at ARC right now, then I'm going to transfer to Sac State. I like dogs, rock climbing, and being outdoors in general. I joined this club to help students like you along their path for whatever their planning on doing, as well as learning more for myself. I also work at the Health and Education Homebase on campus so if you're nearby or need some help, just stop by!

First off my name is Aayan Khan. I'm currently a second year biology major on the pre-med track here at ARC and plan on transferring to UC Davis. I joined AMSA because I wanted to be part of a community of other future healthcare professionals where I could both learn from others and contribute my own personal experiences. A little about me is that I really enjoy playing sports (my main ones were soccer and swimming growing up), staying active, and spending time with my friends and families.
