| Other Info | David Carlisle M.D., Ph.D. Director, Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development State of California Dr. Carlisle is a nationally-renowned expert in health care policy and government affairs. He is currently on leave from the UCLA School of Medicine to serve the state and the people of California. He is the director of the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development, or OSHPD, where he oversees 12 divisions dealing with issues of hospital safety, health education, healthcare workforce, and healthcare quality, to name a few. Dr. Carlisle graduated from the Brown School of Medicine and received a Ph.D. in Health Policy from the UCLA School of Public Health. Dr. Carlisle is a frequent visitor to AMSA ARC events and a major supporter of AMSA's community and well as statewide work. |
