Then you should attend this meeting and hear from a dynamic physician: Darin Latimore, M.D. Associate Program Director Associate Professor of Internal Medicine UC Davis Health System Medical Student Diversity Director UC Davis School of Medicine Dr. Latimore is the Medical Student Diversity Director and an Associate Program Director for Internal Medicine. He graduated from UC Davis School of Medicine and completed his internal medicine residency at UC Davis. Dr. Latimore is passionate about caring for the underserved and has dedicated his life to caring for HIV patients and educating the next generation of physicians. He has won several awards including the 2000 "Heroes in Health Care Award." His clinical and academic interests include HIV medicine and health care policy. Dr. Latimore is strongly interested in international health has done humanitarian medical work in Nigeria. He has recently been appointed the Director of Student Outreach and Diversity and the School Medicine, working in supporting students' gaining knowledge about the UC Davis School of Medicine and the subsequent admissions process. Dr. Latimore strongly feels that you do not treat a "disease", you treat a person. Dr. Latimore is also a mentor to many medical and undergraduate students. Cost: FREE |
