Dr. Laurin focuses his research on emergency airway management, procedural sedation, and pain control. He has also co-authored a pilot education program designed to teach medical students and residents about emergency airway management via an interactive multimedia computer program. Dr. Laurin is also the director of Medical Education, in which he oversees teaching the entire medical student rotating through the Emergency Department. He has won numerous awards given by medical students for his teaching and his passion for Emergency Medicine.
