Daniel West, who is listed in The Best Doctors in America, has expertise in treating bone tumors—notably Ewing’s sarcoma and bone cancer. His research centers on understanding the biology of Ewing's sarcoma and developing new treatments for this condition. Additional research interests include the pathophysiology and management of sickle cell anemia. He is certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners and by the American Board of Pediatrics in pediatric hematology-oncology. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Association of Pediatrics, the California Chapter of the American Association of Pediatrics, the Association of Pediatric Program Directors.
