Dr. Boggan heads a specialty team that treats difficult-to-resect tumors of the head, neck and surrounding structures. He is also an expert in pediatric neurosurgery. Dr. Boggan is interested in the innovative use of lasers and other energy sources for treating brain cancers, including photodynamic therapy and neutron-capture therapy for treatment of multiple tumors in the brain. Dr. Boggan is renowned for advancing the use basic and advanced physics to develop lasers and biophotonics to treat tumors and design many other medical therapies.
